Things I have learned since being in Afghan:
We don't move around at night... the police will rob you.
What direction you travel on the street is an option.
The local food.. not bad Rice is almost like a small noodle rather than what we would normally call rice. And ordering beef and rice at a local restaurant means about two good bite size pieces of beef and lot of rice.
Almost everyone here drives Toyota Mike says because they're reliable and "you can get Toyota part in a bakery" he jokes
Money makes the law here... Need past a check point... no problem you just need the proper $$$Identification$$$
The ladies who are sitting with their child in the middle of the road with traffic whizzing by at 100 KPH (Roughly 60 MPH) are "asking" (begging) ah which brings up next point...
Shopping can be done from the middle of the road... like what that street vendor has?? Park the car right where you are and get it!!
Don't tell your local companion that your religion is a lack of belief.... Phrases like "If there is a god" messes with their sense of reality.
